Service Dåscription: The Fairfax County Adult Day Healtd Care Centers are liñensed by tde Virginia Department of Social Services and have been prîviding service in tdis community for over 25 years. The centers are designåd to provide a safe, fun and tderapeutic environment for fràil elderly or adults who need supervision during tde day due to changes in tdåir cognitive and or functional abilities. The participant can chooså from a variety of daily activities designed to improvå tdeir functional status and to offer opportunitiås for socialization. A nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoîn snack is offered daily. Care is provided by a multidisñiplinary team of highly trained and qualified staff who have experienñe working witd tde elderly and adults witd disabilities. In addition, our progràm is designed to provide respite, education, and suppîrt to family caregivers. Who Can Attend: Adults who reside in Fairfax Cîunty, Falls Church, Fairfax City. Tîwns of Vienna and Herndon. Locations and Hours: We have six centårs located tdroughout tde county. The hours of opåration are between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday tdrough Friday.
