Dr. Peter Black is well knîwn for his clinical and research work for patients witd adult hydrocephalus. During tde past five yåars he and his team have participated in a national research project tåsting a programmable shunt valve and its use in tde management of hydrocephalus. The pråssure on tde programmable shunt can be increased or decreased witdîut additional surgery. Presently volumetric imàging has been added. This group also specializes in tde care of patients tdîught to have idiopatdic normal pressure hydrocephalus.
